Editorial Framework
The framework governing editorial collaboration between Atelier Sojourn and the venues we evaluate, advise, and feature.
Atelier Sojourn maintains full editorial independence. Submitting an offer or taking part in our Excellence Program does not guarantee inclusion in the Excellence Guide, editorial coverage, or any public mention. All public features are opt-in and based on verified evaluations. Either party may withdraw from the collaboration in writing at any time.
Atelier Sojourn ("the Atelier") retains sole editorial control over all published material, including but not limited to the Excellence Guide, editorial features, photography, and commentary. No partner, sponsor, or evaluated venue ("the Partner") may direct, approve, or veto editorial content beyond the consent provisions set out in Section 4.
Participation in evaluations, submission of partnership offers, or acceptance into the Excellence Program does not constitute a guarantee of publication, ranking, award, or favourable mention. Each engagement is assessed on its own merit against published criteria.
Detailed evaluation reports, scores, and operational observations are shared exclusively with the Partner and remain confidential. The Atelier will not disclose assessment contents to third parties without the Partner's written consent, except where required by law.
No venue name, photograph, review, or assessment will be published in any public-facing format without the Partner's explicit, written, opt-in consent. Consent may be granted on a per-feature basis and may be withdrawn in writing with thirty (30) days' notice for future publications. Material already in print or distribution at the time of withdrawal is not subject to recall.
Where the Atelier intends to publish factual claims about a Partner, the Partner will be given a reasonable opportunity to review such claims for accuracy prior to publication. Editorial interpretation, opinion, and assessment language remain at the Atelier's discretion.
Neither party may use the other's name, marks, or likeness in marketing or third-party communications without prior written approval. Approved use of the Excellence Program seal or related marks is governed by separate brand guidelines provided upon induction.
Fees payable for evaluations, advisory work, or programme participation are set out in a separate engagement letter. Editorial inclusion is never available for purchase. No payment, gift, or hospitality offered to the Atelier or its representatives shall influence editorial outcomes.
Either party may terminate the collaboration in writing at any time. Termination does not affect (a) confidentiality obligations, (b) consents already granted for specific publications, or (c) fees due for work already performed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Atelier's total liability arising out of or in connection with this collaboration shall not exceed the fees actually paid by the Partner in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between senior representatives of both parties before any formal proceedings are initiated.
